Xyra Systems was founded on a straightforward conviction: the organisations that need AI the most are precisely the ones that cannot afford to hand their data to someone else's server. We built the platform we would have wanted to exist.
What Xyra Systems is.
Xyra Systems is a technology company building sovereign AI intelligence infrastructure for governments, defence institutions, telecommunications operators, and regulated organisations across Asia and beyond. We are incorporated in Singapore with operational presence across Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Our flagship product — the Xyra AI Intelligence Platform — is an air-gapped, on-premise intelligence analysis system built entirely on open-source AI models. It monitors open-source channels across 20+ languages, analyses content at scale, profiles entities, generates automated intelligence reports, and delivers AI-powered advisory outputs — all within the client's own secure perimeter, with no data ever leaving their control.
Xyra is not a pilot project or a prototype. It has been demonstrated under live operational conditions and is actively deployed. We work exclusively with authorised government and institutional procurement leads, and every engagement begins with a confidential consultation.
Why we built it
the way we did.
Every architectural decision in Xyra traces back to a set of beliefs about what responsible AI infrastructure looks like when the stakes are high. These are not marketing positions — they are the reasons the system is built the way it is.
Sovereignty is architectural, not contractual.
A contractual promise that your data will not be accessed is worth less than an architecture that makes access physically impossible. We chose the architecture. Every cloud-based alternative offers the promise. Xyra offers the physical reality.
Transparency earns trust. Black boxes do not.
We use open-source AI models because the organisations we serve should be able to verify what is running inside their systems without asking our permission. Independent auditability is not a feature — it is a prerequisite for deploying AI in sensitive environments.
The platform should outlast the relationship.
Once Xyra is deployed, it operates independently of us. There is no licence key requiring online validation, no subscription that can be revoked, and no vendor infrastructure that must remain operational for the system to function. Our clients own what they deploy.
The people who built it.
Sazzad Hossain
Sazzad is a software architect and AI engineer with over 25 years of experience building distributed systems, SaaS platforms, and — in recent years — production-grade AI infrastructure. His programming roots go back to Z80-based systems and Microsoft BASIC, and he has since worked across the full modern stack: .NET, Angular, Python, TypeScript, Azure, Kubernetes, and cross-platform mobile development.
He holds a Master's degree in IT from RMIT University, Melbourne — where he graduated with High Distinction Average — and a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from Birmingham City University, UK. Both he and Shaniur studied at RMIT during the same period, which is where their professional relationship began.
Sazzad is the Managing Director of Binary Quest Limited, a software development and outsourcing firm based in Dhaka with 17 years of operation, and Principal Consultant at Binary Quest Software Pty Ltd in Melbourne. He has served as ICT Director of Padma Diagnostic Centre Ltd, one of Bangladesh's leading integrated healthcare organisations, since 2015.
His current technical focus is applied AI — specifically RAG pipelines, open-source LLM fine-tuning, AI-powered automation, and sovereign AI deployment for legal, insurance, and government analytics use cases. He bridges AI innovation with enterprise-grade infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements, which makes him the natural architecture lead for the Xyra platform.
He co-founded Xyra Systems with Shaniur to address a gap he observed across multiple markets: governments and regulated institutions needed AI at scale but could not accept the sovereignty trade-offs that cloud-based platforms required. Xyra is the answer they built.
Shaniur T I M Nabi
Shaniur is a technology entrepreneur and business strategist with over 24 years of experience across telecommunication, e-commerce, enterprise software, and technology services. He has founded and led multiple ventures across Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Australia, with a consistent focus on building digital infrastructure that solves real operational challenges in emerging markets.
He holds a double bachelors degree in Computer Science and Telecommunicaiton Engineering from RMIT University, Melbourne, where he studied alongside Sazzad — the professional partnership that would later evolve into Xyra Systems. His academic background combined with hands-on experience building and scaling businesses gives him a distinctive ability to translate complex technical capabilities into products that enterprises actually adopt.
His technology career spans CTO of a national telecommunications operator in Bangladesh, Founder and CEO of Connect Seven Solution in Malaysia — a telecom system integration firm with 14 years of operations, and software development at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. He has led the strategic expansion of Haier Bangladesh Ltd as President since 2020 and also served for a year as Chief Growth Officer at Commerce Interchange in Riyadh, driving digital transformation across the GCC region. Shaniur is also CEO of SpecKnox Consultancy, a Bangladesh-based technology consultancy through which Xyra's sovereign AI deployments are delivered to government and institutional clients in the region.
At Xyra, Shaniur leads commercial strategy, client partnerships, and product direction. His deep understanding of intelligence workflows in government, financial, and enterprise contexts drives how the platform is positioned, packaged, and deployed for organisations across South and Southeast Asia.
